Well hello there Wednesday! Is it just me, or did this week go by way too fast already? I actually just had to do a double-check to see what day it was. Jordan stayed home on Monday so my days are slightly off… So I can totally blame him right? Just kidding…
I love a monochromatic look, especially when it’s a monochromatic summer outfit. I mean, there is nothing easier to wear then picking something out all in the same color, am I right or am I right? You tend to see a lot of all white looks for summer, but I have been in a bit of a blue craze and I really wanted to find a casual way to wear this pleated top. It’s been unbearably (is that even a word?) hot during the day here in Houston, so wearing pants is a no-go 90% of the time. The length of the pleated top also works great with the shorts.
Speaking of shorts, why is it so hard to find shorts that are not booty shorts?! Why oh why would anyone want to show off their butt cheek out and about is beyond me! But seriously though, why are all the shorts so stinking short?! It’s one of the reasons I avoid shorts all together, because I can’t find shorts that are actually decent in length, and I’m not a huge fan of bermuda shorts also. #firstworldproblems
To top off my look I went with my blue Kendra Scott ring and this fun blue cross body bag from Macy’s backstage!
