I am super excited to share with you all our newborn photo session on the blog. The pictures are precious, get ready for picture overload because I am sharing ALL of them. They are all too good not to share, and I thought you would get some great newborn photo ideas too!
Brown party of 5. We are a full hand now. Haha! A few weeks ago I met Allison from Lentille Photography. Allison is a local photographer here in Houston and owner of Lentille Photography.
Allison before becoming a photographer used to be a labor and delivery nurse. She has been a lifesaver and has helped me with my mastitis, and has even helped me before Liam was born.
Prepping for a newborn photo session can be a bit intimidating. If you have a newborn, you are a walking zombie. Add older kids into the picture, and the thought of getting everyone ready can make you want to lock yourself in the bathroom. Or at least that’s how I felt.
Allison works closely with Makeup and Hair artist Bridgette from Beauty Call Hair & Makeup. Together they made the whole day stress-free, and easy. Major kudos to both ladies in making the day easy on a new mom, I could not have asked for more that day.
The day started out early, and Bridgette came over to my house to do hair and makeup. Bridgette not only killed my hair and makeup, but it was so nice to get pampered! Not to mention, to have hair and makeup come to my house was so nice.
To top it off the hubby also went and had gotten us donuts and coffee, so I felt like royalty with my coffee in hand and having my hair and makeup done.
Once my hair and makeup were done, we headed over to Allison’s studio to shoot. Now, this is where it gets even better, Allison has a wardrobe there for the WHOLE family. So I didn’t have to worry about planning outfits, making sure everyone matched and getting everyone ready.
The only person that needed to bring something was Jordan, and he needed to bring slacks, which of course, he forgot (note to self; never leave it to Jordan to remember things).
Allison’s studio is adorable, peaceful and just perfect. She handled the two boys so well! I am also convinced she’s the baby whisper. The way she shot Liam and cared for him put me at ease.
Our newborn photo session took a little under 2 hours. I am so incredibly thankful for Allison and Bridgette for gifting us such incredible pictures that we will treasure a lifetime.
I look at the pictures of Liam, and how she got the little details. You know the little details that you forget? Like baby feet, the cheeks, and all the baby peach fuzz.
If you are in Houston and are looking for newborn photo ideas, make sure to visit Lentille Photography to book your family pictures or even your newborn photo session.
Thank you so much for stopping by, hope you have a great day!

Where did you get that dress you wore for newborn photos!?
this was a dress she had. I believe Chicwish may have one similar but in black.
These are so cute!! Do you know where the dress is from?
Can I ask where you got your dress?
this one was from the photographer that she had in her studio!
