Happy Hump Day y’all!
I hope you’re having a great day so far! I’m finally able to share the reveal of my office. Where all the magic from Uptown with Elly Brown happens. Haha, I don’t think that even makes sense.
Moving on, if you’ve been following along for a while, you may remember my office used to look like this. Since then, we have done some renovations and decorated our little home how I have wanted to. We have finished all the main projects (YAY!) but still, have a few small things here and there. Nothing super big, though. I’ll be sharing our rooms and makeovers here and there with you guys.
So for today, let’s see my office. I want to start off to say that a lot of the decor you’ll see in the house was bought at Home Goods. With that said, it’s hard for me to link everything online. I will however always try my best to find something similar to link to.
This room used to be our guest room, but we decided to make the old office into the dining room, and we moved my office in here. The upstairs is all carpet, so the hubby and his friend ripped the carpet out and put in wood floors for me.
The wood was pretty easy to do. They cut the plywood, staple and staggered it down, and then they stained the floors with two coats of a gray wood stain. This is of course in a nutshell!
The hubby also commutes and drives into work every day, thankfully he has a great boss and works for a great company that is super flexible and allows him to work from home and leave work before traffic to wrap up his day. So the two computer screens you see are his for his job.
He originally needed four screens and I said no to that, so we compromised and settled on two screens. It’s a bit of an eye sore for me, but I do like having him home early, so I guess I’ll make the sacrifice, haha!
Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy the tour, and if you have any questions on anything just let me know!

Thank you Lauren!
Hi!!
I loved the decoration of your work space.
It is simple but classy and fashionable at the same time. I love white spaces, it gives me a sensation of tranquility.
I don´t have an official work space at home. But I´d love to have one. I think it´s some kin of basic necessity. And we always need some focus and concentration area in order to work.
I loved yours
Hope you keep posting some other home spaces
Wow! I love the result! Looks amazing!
The configuration of a commercial building is completely different from any such kind of ordinary building. Apart from that, every commercial building contains underpinning and restumping systems that make it isolated from an ordinary building.
This makeover is awesome! How long did it take?
It’s so bright and stylish! Love it!
Amazing makeover!
How long does an average home makeover normally take?
