Hey, guys!!
Happy Wednesday!
Today I wanted to share our little San Antonio vacation recap with you guys. We had so much fun at our vacation and didn’t want to leave! It was way too short! But thankfully the drive from Houston to the Hill Country Resort is just under 3 hours, which means that we will be visiting more than just once a year!
I think the resort is the perfect weekend getaway or even a week-long trip for a San Antonio vacation! They have tons of different activities for the kids like face painting, and games out in the yard. As well as night activities for the parents like live music.
The weekend was the busiest but come Sunday afternoon it was a bit quieter and slow at the resort which was nice!
The resort had a lazy river, a big pool, three different slides, a kiddie pool with their kiddie slide. AND a beach pool with sand at the entrance. Jadyn and Colin wanted to go to each pool every 30 minutes!
We had a great view of the resort from our room. The resort is just beautiful and very well kept. Not one complaint! Our room was a great size, and the room service was great. I REALLY like how they have a Starbucks at the lobby level, of course, the line was crazy long every morning, but thankfully they moved fast.
The food at the resort would be my only complaint. It was good food overall; I just feel like it was a bit too pricey. The breakfast buffet was $25 which I guess isn’t too bad, but Jordan and I eat portion-controlled meals, so for us to pay $25 for a plate of food (and for breakfast, I might add) was just a bit much.
One lunch we spent $70 for a shared hotdog, one kid’s PB&J, a virgin pina colada, and a jack and coke. The food wasn’t bad at all; it just seemed a bit too much. But when you think about how much you pay for the hotel and everything they have, it ends up equaling out.
Overall our San Antonio vacation was such a blast, and we are already making plans to visit before the summer ends! I compiled some snaps and videos we took during the resort to share.

This City Tour is a MUST for travel as well ^
It of course, wouldn’t be a trip without one of them getting hurt. Jadyn busted his lip on the very last day! ^
Thanks so much for stopping by, and if you have any questions about the resort just let me know!
xoxo,
What a fun vacation for the family – looks like everyone had fun!
