Summer days consist of a lot of time outside by the pool, so why not make it as enjoyable as possible?! We updated a few things this summer outdoors, and I do not regret anything. It’s exactly quite there, but it’s close enough! We have been spending so much time outside with our new additions, and it’s already paid off in more ways than one! I also need the space to be functional and kid-friendly, and that’s not always easy to do #IYKYK ?. Below I have pulled together all of our outdoor must-haves that are making our summer run smoother that I am sure you will love.
Loungers // Umbrella // Towels // Pillows
These loungers were an immediate YES from me! They were investment pieces, and I looked HIGH and low for a wicker style like this. I do LOVE these. They are 100% worth the investment, and I also bought the cover to protect them.
The umbrella was also a no-brainer and has been great to stick the kids under to cool off or have a little time-out session ?. I really hope I won’t have to buy an umbrella in 3 years, I also looked HIGH and LOW for umbrellas, and I swear some of them cost more than chaise loungers. I thought this one was a great price for the look. The material feels flimsy, and I also wish it came with a tie to use when the umbrella is not in use. We shall see on this one …
Cooler // Towels // Basket // Sunscreen // Water Pitcher // Plastic Cups
This little station has been incredible! I wanted something like a bar cart here in this space but again needed it to have its function. This also doubles up as a cooler, and I can store the SPF and towels below. This is amazing, AND it has wheels! This area has stopped the kids from going in and out of the house. I keep it stocked with snacks, drinks, fresh towels, sunscreen, and whatever else they might need.
