Lately, I’ve made extra time on my hands to really treat my skin and body. I think we sometimes forget that our skin and hair are so important (side note; did you know your skin is the largest organ in your body). We need to be mindful of what we are putting on them! Here is your reminder- be kind to your skin. Exfoliate, moisturize and take care of your body (in and out). After all, you only get one!
The Sephora Sale is live and I have rounded up my favorites and holy grail products below. These are all products and even brands I love. It’s also time for me to stock up on a few items. I really want to find a new hair oil, and I need a new hair straightener.

In honor of the Sephora sale, I’m sharing a quick video using some of my favorites😬. You can find all the links and my top picks for the Sephora sale over on the blog: https://www.uptownwithellybrown.com/sephora-must-haves/ WHAT I USED: Farasli Unicorn Essence Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter Fenty Beauty Foundation in 170 Too Faced Born This Way Concealer Laura Mercier Setting Powder Pat McGrath Sublime Bronze Ambition Sephora Brow mascara TOM FORD Bronzer in Gold Dust Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Blush Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow Charlotte Tilbury Lip Pencil and Lipstick in “Pillow Talk” Urban Decay De-Slick setting Spray
SEPHORA MUST HAVES; MAKEUP
Some of the items below are not new here, but I have recently been trying out the Luminous Silk foundation and now I’ve been wearing it daily! Same for the NARS bronzer. The items below are worth the hype! The flawless filter specifically applied BEFORE foundation is BEAUTIFUL. ESP during Spring and Summer for that glow. Also, the Too Faced Born This Way Concealer is actually a great alternative for the Shape Tape, but not as thick or drying.
SEPHORA MUST HAVES; HAIR
Again, none of these items are new, and all Oh so good. Love my T3 set; it’s one of the only wands that keeps my hair curled for longer than a few hours. If your hair is damaged, the Olaplex 3,4,5 system is a MUST have for your hair. Playa is hands down my favorite clean shampoo and conditioner. I’ve also tried a few Ouai products, and so far I have liked them all.
SEPHORA MUST HAVES; SKIN AND SKINCARE
Tan-Luxe is MY favorite self-tanner, it is the only tanner that is odorless (or close enough), and it doesn’t stain my sheet (see more about Tan-Luxe in this blog post). Sol De Janeiro is a brasilain favorite. Their scent is strong though, but I personally like it. Necessaire is another favorite. I use their body lotion and deodorant daily (clean brand).
Out of skincare at Sephora, it’s hard not to feel too overwhelmed, so I just stick with my favorites- the Ordinary, and PTR has some awesome face masks.
Be sure to let me know below if you have any must-have items from Sephora! Are you also shopping for anything specific? Thank you so much for stopping by, have a great day!
