Spring Ready Stripe Dress

How I wish it were Friday. Most of you know, but if not… Jadyn hit his head yesterday at school. Hard enough for him to throw up a few times and make him a bit out of it for a while.

Anyways, a few hours in the ER and Jadyn is back to himself; we are just having to monitor him and make sure he doesn’t get worse. So we are still praying and believing for a full recovery. He was already back to jumping on the couch and playing basketball with dad inside the house. Go figure! Thank you, everyone, for your prayers and well wishes!

Well, because he threw up a few times under the first 2 hours of him hitting his head, we thought better safe than sorry and in particular with a head injury. SO we took him to the ER.

Thankfully Jadyn fell asleep for a bit while we were waiting for my mom to come over and watch Colin. Side note: according to his nurse and the Doctor at the ER, kids, CAN sleep after they hit their head. What you need to watch out for is having a hard time waking up, or not waking up at all.

Now, let’s move on to this stripe dress. GAH. I LOVEE it, I knew the second I laid eyes on it at ASOS I had to have it. Love that it will grow with the belly as well. The colors SCREAM Spring! This stripe dress also comes in non-maternity unfortunately, it’s sold out in a lot of sizes. Hopefully, they restock!

To complete my look and to do a little pattern play, I went with my Hammitt bag and added my tassel bracelet set from Baublebar. I went with my lace sandals, but this dress would look so cute with a cute pair of sneakers (totally getting these, because I am OBSESSED) and a denim jacket. You can also drape the denim jacket over your shoulder for more of a dress down look.

And if you’re running around town and it’s a bit too hot, you go with something similar to these sandals.
