Happy Wednesday!!
This is a look I shot with Ailee a while back. I bought this dress from Zara to wear to a blogging conference here in Woodlands, TX. I remember trying this dress and fell in love immediately! The embroidered details and the fit is just stunning. I really like how this black dress takes things up a notch, considering the dress is under $150 and how much I have already worn it pays for itself!
Although this dress doesn’t look exactly like the self-portrait dress. I do think it’s very similar and you are getting the look for way less.
For this look I went with my burgundy lace up heels for a bit of color (these are old but similar ones below are linked). I also really like how the colors contrast with each other. For my accessories I went with my Clare V. clutch which is one of my favorites (and really the only one I have). I splurged on this one a while back at Piperlime and I figured if I went with a black and white one instead of leopard I could get a bit more use out of it and, sure enough I was right.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Don’t forget if you are in Houston, I will be hosting at an Elaine Turner event (where Elaine Turner announces the debut of Southern Charm Bar, a collection of chains and charms for the southern woman to mix and match for a look that’s personally hers.) at the BLVD location with is: 1700 Post Oak Boulevard. Make sure to RSVP to this email address: BLVDEvents@ElaineTurner.com. Space is limited and the event is from 6-8pm. 15% of all the Southern Charm Bar proceeds benefit Autism Rescue Angels. I hope to see you there!!
