Welcome back! We are wrapping up foundation week with the most asked question: What are the best foundations for over 30 skin- or AKA, as the Internet likes to call it, MATURE SKIN (I giggled when I read that).
Remember, everyone’s skin is different, and what works for one may not work for others. I discussed that earlier this week in Foundation 101 if you missed it. Skin type, the look you want, etc., will all play into what kind of foundation you want. Generally speaking, for mature skin (?), you want to avoid the super drying matte foundations. You can use a matte foundation but stick to the ones with a natural finish.
Below you’ll see all these foundations have one thing in common; none have oil. I have combo- skin and live in hot and humid Houston, Texas. I have learned that the hard way… but oil foundation on my skin and in HTX does not mix.
Here are my top recommendations and foundations for skin over 30 …
TOP 5 FAVORITE FOUNDATIONS:
LUMINOUS SILK- Oil-free liquid foundation that’s buildable medium coverage with a natural finish.
L’OREAL TRUE MATCH- A tinted serum with Hyaluronic acid for a nude and radiant finish. Think skincare and makeup combined.
MAYBELLINE SUPER STAY- Up to 24hr wear, it’s a full-coverage foundation with a matte finish and oil-free.
MAYBELLINE FIT ME- a matte + poreless Foundation. Lightweight and oil-free with a medium coverage and natural matte finish.
ESTEE LAUDER DOUBLE WEAR- Another 24-hour foundation with a natural matte finish that’s buildable. Also, full coverage and is perfect for HTX heat and humidity!
Out of my 5 favorite foundations for over 30 have you tried any of them? If not which are you wanting to try out? Be sure to let me know below! Thanks so much for stopping by!
