And just like that my boys are 3 and 2. Time flies so fast and it feels like you’re always trying to catch up! I remember when I had my babies, it seems like it was just yesterday! From diapers to Toy Story birthday parties…it all happened in the blink of an eye!
This year we did the boy’s birthday party together, and from now on it’s going to stay that way. I just do not feel like having two parties back to back since their birthday’s are only 10 days apart.
With that being said, the boys LOVVVE Buzz and Woody. Every single day, Jadyn and Colin ask to watch “Buzz at the airport” (AKA: Toy Story 2). This year we went all out with Buzz and Woody for the birthday theme and to see the boy’s face light up with the decor was priceless!
Funny story, the night before Jordan and I set up all the decorations, Jadyn knew what was going on. Instead of falling asleep he kept peeking over the stairs all night and saying “Jadyn and Colin’s Birthday.” The kid didn’t go to bed until 11pm! It was like Christmas morning all over again for him. Colin is still a little too young to know what was going on, but man Jadyn spent all week counting down the days until his birthday.
All in all, the day was perfect. I am so appreciative for all the friends and family that came to celebrate the boys. Jadyn and Colin had so much fun and Colin actually passed out after we sang happy birthday, since he was too excited to take a nap earlier in the day!
A huge thank you to Tiny Prints for the boys invitations and thank you cards. A huge thank you as well to Shindigz for the party supplies and decor. Being able to order everything by a party theme made things so easy when it came to decorating. Let’s not forget about this cake y’all! SO GOOD! I love the design!! Ruthy was able to design it exactly the way I wanted. I was exhausted at the end of Saturday, but man was it worth it. The birthday was perfect!
