I hope you’re having a good day. Valentine’s Day is just a few short weeks away, so to kick off the romantic season I wanted to bring you my first Valentine’s Day outfit (or share different ideas).
I saw this dress from ASOS a few weeks ago, and I knew I needed it. I love that it will grow with me and the bump. The lace and collar detail are to die for. I also love the contrast of white and black together. To make my outfit a bit more fun, I added colored heels and a fun statement bag courtesy of Aldo. Nothing says Valentine’s like red so making my look pop with the red heels keeps it fun and just right for the occasion.
I love how so many of you are just as invested in baby brownie as we are. It warms my heart! We go to the doctors Thursday morning for an ultrasound and to get baby measurements and go through the nitty gritty of the pregnancy (like insurance details). If you follow along on IG, you may know that I bought a fetal doppler last week and finally got it in the mail this week. You know I used that sucker as soon as it came in.
Thankfully I was able to find the baby’s heartbeat, and gosh, it’s as I fell in love all over again. I am now listening to the baby’s heartbeat every day.
Now on to the updates:
How am I feeling?
Well, I’m thankfully not sick and can breathe through my nose (YAY!). Nothing worse than being sick and not being able to do much about it. My energy comes and goes, if I exert myself too much, I crash by 6 pm.
Gosh, so many weird ones. Donuts, Mcdonalds Filet O’ Fish (which I know is so gross, but I can’t help it). Cold milk, Asian food; which is hysterical because my mom ate a lot of Asian food during her pregnancy with me, and sure enough I get pregnant, and it’s like all I want is beef and broccoli. Also, anything Brazilian! Give me all the beans and rice, okay now I’m hungry!
Do your jeans fit?
NOOOOOO. The rubberband trick is also starting to hurt. I need to find jeans, I just have been too lazy to do so. I did order some GAP jeans and of course, they were too big. I did, however, find this cute preggers top and jersey maternity dress.
No, indigestion and heartburn have gone away for the most part. So YAY!!!! I do have to do all the driving, for whatever reason Jordan’s driving makes me sick.
Are you sleeping through the night?
Glad you asked… I can’t sleep. I seriously toss and turn all. Night. Long. I also get so stinking hot sleeping; poor Jordan is freezing in the middle of the night because it’s in the low 70’s with the AC on.
Any other changes or updates?
I have the Baby Center App, and they show videos of different stages of the pregnancy. Well, I showed the boys one time, now every morning the first thing they want to do is see the “baby on mama’s phone.” Jadyn will watch the video, and he’ll repeat: “red blood cells, yolk sac gone, look mama it’s the baby’s kidneys.” It is the cutest thing!
