It's Thanksgiving week, which means no school for the kids. May the force be with all the mama's prepping for Thanksgiving while keeping the kids alive.Today I wanted to share this casual date night look. I will be the first to admit that even though I love wearing heels, I love my flats just as much. I'm also grateful that the hubby I and love casual date nights just as much as we love dressing up and going somewhere fancy. I have always been a big fan of Lucky Brand. It's super soft and very flattering. I also really like how it's not skin-tight. It gives you just enough room to move in and it's the perfect length. The V-neck is great for layering over a plaid flannel top. You can also never (and I mean NEVER)  have too many scarfs. Especially when it's oversized, am I right, or am I right? The great thing about oversized scarfs is they can be worn multiple ways. I also love the idea of throwing it over a dress like I am wearing and belting it. For today I wanted to share three fun date night ideas perfect for Fall/winter weather.1. Go on a Carriage ride! I have ALWAYS wanted to do this (Jordan are you reading this?!). Going on a carriage ride is even better if you get snow. Just don't forget the hot cocoa and blankets!2. Go to a hockey game, even if you hate sports. Seeing the players fall on ice it pretty comical, trust me. If you're really not into sports, then go ice skating, and hold hands while skating! You'll be the star in your very own romance movie.3. Visit your local fair. Chili cook-off anyone? The crisp and cool weather will be perfect for walking around and exploring!
