Micro-needling may be one of my favorite facials. I know it seems and looks a bit scary, but the results BY FAR are the best, in my opinion. Please make sure to watch the video below to see what the facial looks like, and how my skin reacted the first time, and the second time.
I have seen the most significant improvement as far as texture, and an overall “glow” like no other facial when it comes to a micro-needling facial. In just two treatments, my skin looked smoother and healthier!
^^ before you can begin your treatment, you have to numb your face.
^^ after the numbing cream is applied, you’ll sit with saran wrap over your face to lock in the heat and activate the numbing cream.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
After the procedure, the skin will be red and flushed in a similar way to a sunburn. This is normal! You may also experience skin tightness and tingling and mild sensitivity to touch on the face. This will diminish after a few hours following the treatment.
The drawback, there is some downtime. Especially in the first 48 hours (not for you, but for your face). I would recommend getting this facial over the weekend, when you have no plans. That way, as I mention in the video below, you allow your skin time to heal and for the redness to go down.
Note; it’s also not a good idea to plan to go to an event an hour after like I did, Haha! And use apply your SPF!
After the 48 hours you’ll start to see some peeling, during this time I would continue to stay away from the makeup unless you ABSOLUTELY have to! If you do have to use makeup, I would suggest using a BB cream, and go easy on everything. Allow your skin to heal, and to breathe!
^^ this is what my face looked like right after my first treatment!
WHAT NOT TO DO AFTER YOUR FACIAL:
wash your face for 12 hours
expose skin to direct sunlight for 24hours
apply makeup for 24 hours
use foundation of powders for 48 hours
use sauna, swimming pools, and tanning beds for two days
use botox or fillers for the three weeks
^^ this is in between my first treatment. You can see some redness has gone away, and my skin texture is a little better.
^^ this is a total after two treatments (waiting 4 weeks for every treatment). The biggest difference is a smoother texture, even skin tone, and redness has gone down quite a bit.

Never tried micro needling before, but I wouldn’t hesitate to give it a go! Just wish it was cheaper, haha 🙂

I hear you girl, I am actually looking for at home treatments, hopefully those end up working out!
I wanna try microneedling. I have seen people have such good results! Thanks for all the good tips!
the results are amazing! The only drawback, it is $$$. I am now trying at home kits to see if they work too!
Thank you for sharing your pictures of your Microneedling procedures. Such an inspiration specially for those who would want to try it too.
I love watching your videos but please stop saying Ummm cry
Haha, ummmm…. I’ll try ??. It’s a nervous habit. Not easy speaking to a camera 🙂
Thank’s for sharing your experience I’m glad you got awesome results 😉 microneedling is undoubtedly one of the most marvelous skincare treatments I’ve come across! As someone who struggled with uneven skin texture and acne scars, this procedure has been a game-changer for me.
